With around 2,500 employees and an annual income in excess of £72 million, the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust is the third largest Ambulance Service in the UK.  Covering the whole of Wales we are able to offer an exciting and rewarding career to individuals in all parts of the country.

The Trust has the following operational services:

  • Emergency Medical Services - Responsible for responding to all emergency calls, and taking appropriate pre-hospital care action.
  • Patient Care Services - Responsible for providing non-emergency care and transport for those patients who have a medical need for transport.
  • Control and Communications - Responsible for the emergency dispatch of ambulance crews and the provision of telephone healthcare advice.
